Headers make it easier, but you can add them yourself to save a couple of quid.

edit: Headers are a series of connector pins that stick out of the bottom of the GPS board and allow you to “plug in” (and remove) the GPS board onto the AgOpenGPS board.

A lot of information in the precision farming section, and some very helpful posters who have been very willing to help people get systems up and running.

Yes, they allow you to plug the GPS board into the auto steer PCB.
