Agri bill, not for Scotland, but what?

This agri bill announcement, that will but most hill farms out of business, as everyone knows its the lfa and sfp that keeps it all going, does it apply to Scotland or does the Scottish government have something of its own it can do, surly what kinda public goods can a big rough hill farm provide but trees.

Fergus Ewing is wanting production based subsidies.

Won't be popular though!
Probably not but it shows a bit more appreciation that the subsidies do not stay with us, go to our suppliers and without production there is no down chain processors, with provenance.

Trees are the future 30 acre field of lovely grade 2 land on a neighbouring estate just been deer fenced and planted as nursery for millions of young trees. I think there are plans for more fields to be converted to tree nurseries
