Just asking for some opinions on agri parts quality of their combine parts. Looking at changing the feeder house sprockets, bearings and wooden wear strips. Their prices are a quarter of what I can get here. If worth trying I’d buy them and ship out But don’t want to bother if they are not going to last. Thx.

Do you mean Agri Parts Italy? If so I have had some stuff from them and I couldn't fault the quality it looked the same as genuine. Someone I know ordered some Case gears from them (something in the final drive of a 5088) and was shocked to find they were made by Spicer who made the originals for Case. Can't remember the exact price difference but I think Case wanted thousands and he paid hundreds.

Funnily enough I had an email from them this week warning me about their annual shutdown. Italy like France slows down in August. I think if you order anything after tomorrow (8th) it won't ship till after the 19th.

EDIT having a brain fart it was Eaton who made the gear not Spicer but you get the idea.

Quick comparison. Feeder house top drive bearing assembly here was 864$ compared to 225$ roughly with the exchange. Feeder chain drive sprockets 301$ compared to 140$ Biggest shafting was the wooden laths to guide the feeder chain. 87$ and change compared to less than 10$. Think I’ll be making a bigger order up and get it shipped for future use.

Ordered a top sieve for Dominator from Agriteca in Lithuania. Claas price was €1200+vat. It arrived from Lithuania 10 days later for a little less than €500 and no need to reclaim vat. Used to be able to do that with UK once but not anymore. Incredibly carriage DPD was only €50. Don't know where it was manufactured but its well made and fits perfectly.
