A future where farmers are properly supported to farm more innovatively and protect the environment is a step closer today following the introduction of the Agriculture Bill. Charlotte Cunningham reports. The devil will be in the detail Charlotte Cunningham. I would be very reluctant to regurgitate the spin from these press releases... these type of publications seem to bare less and less resemblance to the actual proposed legislation they summarise with each working day! I think most are written by authors having even seen the proposed bill, let alone digested it. Treat with a bucket full of skepticism! Given the scale of change that is coming, it is vital our industry is given the opportunity to understand the true picture, not the spin.
