Situation Vacant Agricultural Machinery Demonstrator - Midlands

The Opportunity: Are you a machinery enthusiast with a strong livestock background who enjoys being out on the road? Looking for a role that offers great progression and development with a growing company? Covering the Midlands, the Agricultural Machinery Demonstrator will be responsible for showcasing and demonstrating the features and benefits of our client’s range of on-farm, labour saving devices. In this hands-on role you will engage and talk with dealerships, providing exceptional customer support and experience. You will have an understanding of livestock systems, be comfortable on farm, and effectively relay the advantages and correct usage of the equipment. If you like being out and about, know your way around a farm, and can simplify technical machinery information, this role could be an ideal match for you!

The company is constantly developing and improving its equipment designs to meet the unique needs of farmers. Currently, the business is experiencing an exciting and significant growth phase.

Role Responsibilities:
  • To conduct hands-on demonstrations of the product range on farm and at dealer events, highlighting the benefits and features of the products
  • To engage with dealer networks, providing support and guidance of product operational usage and maintenance to maximise sale opportunities
  • To maintain a deep knowledge of the product range including specifications, functions and operational procedures
  • To ensure all demonstration machinery is well maintained and ready for use
  • To deliver exceptional customer service, collating any customer feedback and communicate back to the team
Skills you will need:
Essential:
  • Experience of handling and operating agricultural machinery
  • A knowledge and understanding of livestock systems
  • Experience of working around livestock
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good organisational skills, able to manage own diary
  • The ability to relay technical information to a variety of audiences
  • A team player, able to work autonomously
  • The ability to build strong relationships
  • Able to lift and move heavy machinery and parts
  • UK driving licence and the desire to travel frequently
