Mine still hasn't turned up. Really pee'd of with mole valley. Nearly at the point of just cancelling and start again next jan. Would love to know what we are growing; but it's gone flipping mental. Zero grazer off all week now, and I want to shut some paddocks up. But without being able to budget the wedge I'm nervous.
What's people's normal peak? Can 150 be achieved?

I'm guessing your talking about a plate meter....?
The top grass grower over here said he would top out at 230 a day. Dairy NZ didn't believe him.....so they measured it themselves they said he was doing 260.
Highest I've measured was bout 130 over a week. You know well your growing that much grass a real pain in the ass to keep on top of unless your highly stocked
That guy is special though a lot more to how he gets there!
It would be more interesting to know what his average is over the whole growing season and how long his average growing season isAgreed. Henry is an exceptionally good farmer. It's funny cause he is not in the best grass growing area or on the best soil. Shows just what can be achieved.

puts out a lot of lime as wellThe guy puts fert on about 18 times a year I think he said, some of his cows are that old they have no teeth 20+years. He can sink a 8ft rebar into the ground with his own hands.
