That's very reasonable! I've got a plate meter I just can't get enthusiastic enough to get out there with it weekly it's been worse since we had the dog put down. Hoping to get a pup in the spring which will give me a walking companion. The wife always offers to come but I'm not that keen on it

cant you train her to chase sticks and jump in the water troughs like Sally did..you wont have to pay extra for a puppy then !

Mine still hasn't turned up. Really pee'd of with mole valley. Nearly at the point of just cancelling and start again next jan. Would love to know what we are growing; but it's gone flipping mental. Zero grazer off all week now, and I want to shut some paddocks up. But without being able to budget the wedge I'm nervous.

What's people's normal peak? Can 150 be achieved?
did you get it from MVF in the end? what was theirs price and was it for full package.

Is it worth the money though, however much it was????
Dunno yet, and to be honest I don't think I will know untill we split the herd. Being so overstocked, I just have to ration them to what I know I can grow, and if it slows up just zg more. But next year I'd hope to have no zg from mid March to Oct. So will need to get on top of it. Will still me sure this year, as interested to compare paddocks production.

Can I ask you guys, what would be your total DM production per acre/ha over the season and what % utilisation would you be trying to get? What would be a good benchmark figure for me to point the people I deal with at and say 'beat that'???
Whole farm growth in mid teens, fresh re-seeds and optimum nutrient status pushing 20t/dm/ha+ in paddocks would be gold standard.
Caveat would be free-draining soils and south facing with fairly even rainfall over the year of 1100mm, adjust accordingly for late, heavy clay etc

I always aim to beat 15 T/DM per Ha. It might not sound much but to get all the paddocks to beat it is quite tricky. Plus its a realistic target.

As for utilization that depends on the system - grazing, zero grazing, premowing, whatever.

However you use it you have to grow it first
