Is a rouge government one with a red hue? I always thought the tories were blue.Like the bullsheet that there is no such thing as “international law”. A concept dreamed up by @Danllan , as a manifestly inadequate loincloth to cover the embarrassment of UK, now being a serial international law breaker.
Headlines across the globe this morning, really, really put UK in the “shame“ corner. Absolutely no surprise, the Queen pulled a sickie, to avoid the urge to puke, when put in a position to have to read out the legislative agenda of this rouge government in her name. Quite right that she instead focused on a horse race and later on opening an underground station, as being of better value than being seen to agree with the direction of Bunter is taking the country.
Do you remember this poster?I don't seem to recall that, have you got a photo?
No. Did the EU steal the bus?
Me neither , must be fake news
yes but its not a bus
Turns out they've had 35 billion .yes but its not a bus
this bus is very elusive
All remainers weren't they ?Turns out as the economists predicted. That Brexit is in fact costing the UK £444 million a week according to a Bank of England report this week. Some benefit, some bonus.

Did they say how much it would be costing were we still in?Turns out as the economists predicted. That Brexit is in fact costing the UK £444 million a week according to a Bank of England report this week. Some benefit, some bonus.

Got to love economists that can make any figure they like seem real. Funny how their predictions never turn out to be accurate eitherDid they say how much it would be costing were we still in?
No?
Thought not.
It doesn't take a genius or economist to work out. If you cut yourself off from your biggest market, replace that loss with nothing, drown yourself with red tape and the thousands of associated flunkies to administer it, it isn't going to be profitable. But even the Brexit flagship mantra, to take back Britain and stop immigrants coming in has been a spectacular flop.Got to love economists that can make any figure they like seem real. Have a friend who spent his life driving trucks all over europe, he rang me yesterday and was taking a load of beef via the chunnel to holland, last week was Ireland, he says he hasn't had any problems yet, just need the right forms and he says that isnt difficult. It doesn't take a genius or economist to work out. You have answered your own question. Yes, there is no problem is you have all the correct paperwork and the army of people who now have been employed to process it and are happy to pay all the additional costs and duties.Have a friend who spent his life driving trucks all over europe, he rang me yesterday and was taking a load of beef via the chunnel to holland, last week was Ireland, he says he hasn't had any problems yet, just need the right forms and he says that isnt difficult.
Does anyone want more red tape ? No of course not but that is the modern world, its what we voted for and I've not spoken to anyone who has changed their mind.
Additional costs and Robs friend is driving single cargo loads. You have answered your own question. Yes, there is no problem is you have all the correct paperwork and the army of people who now have been employed to process it and are happy to pay all the additional costs and duties.
But once you know what you're doing as the firm he is doing some work for it's very little problem, that's what he says, and if it's the consequence of brexit, then so be it.You have answered your own question. That may be true, but in time common sense will prevail and systems will evolve, after all you can get parts from the states over night and we have no deal with them, perhaps a lot of it is just political at the moment, particularly with the french, you may remember me saying the company my stepson worked for were sending their european stuff via holland as they said the french were playing up just to be awkward.Additional costs and Robs friend is driving single cargo loads.
Problems are with multi-pallet drops and there are no quick pick-up work. Everything has to be booked in advance, you cant ring a courier and say , on a Friday night, "I need that in Cologne by Saturday midday". It just doesn't happen now.
