Make an AHA a 4 generation tenancy. I dare say the CLA will fight the TFA to avoid this.

I see proposals for tenancy reform every month in FW but nothing seems to happen. I agree that we need tax reform for longer tenancies - Conacre & short term FBTs give no one any security except the land agents negotiating them.

Nobody has given out an aha since fbt s came on in 1995. Thay have been a disaster.
Its not anything tenants have done.
You would be best to comment after you have read the facts

I have the facts. Some AHAs have been granted, but very few. My wife organises the tenancy survey for all agents thank you.

Perhaps it was the AHAs that were the disaster & FBTs seen as the solution?

First hand Knowledge
If you kept to polite conversation and dropped the insults, we could get on better

Your statement that landlords would stop using AHA tenancies if reform is brought in is nonsensical.
They stopped issueing them a long time ago, and cannot end them arbitrarily.
There are a few new ones issued now and then, but they will be a re grant for tax purposes.
You may recall a re grant was the method my landlord used to defraud me of my investments
