Haven't used Depitox so don't know if it would kill the bramble but it should take care of the nettles.
As a person who used to run my own gardening business, if I was faced with your situation, and wanted to preserve any proper plants, I would carefully strim the area (every few minutes checking for shrubs etc), rake off the trimmings, leave it a few weeks and have a look to see what is needed. At the end of the day, the area is going to have to be raked to remove the dead growth, whether it is strimmed or weedkillered, so why not do it prior to blitzing with herbicide? There could be a lovely garden, ready made, under the weeds and it would be a shame to lose it.
