Ahem, Weeds!!

We have now moved down SW, whereby we have a lot of Weeds to deal with, I know the Nettles - but could someone please advise if this sticky weed is Cleavers, as I need to get rid of it as it is overgrown and we would d rather see it cleared.

Grazon will do the job, bit more expensive I assumed you were putting it through a sprayer sorry.

I wish I could, but we have to use handheld in the temporary accommodation, as never had this issue previously since adding sheep grazing to our own property.
Plus, do not think the landlady would be happy if I ran around the garden with a boom sprayer

Roundup usually does the nettles round here if you get the concentration/application right, but usually end up with viable rhizomes in the soil & then they come back.

How big is the garden? Grazon comes in bottles covering several acres, PasTor in 5ac packs.

I guess that officially, assuming you don’t have a holding number now(?), you won’t be able to use ‘professional’ products, leaving you with diluted squash from the garden centre.

Fluroxypyr will do nettles as well. Usual rate is 2L/Ha for them.
Find some generic fluroxypyr you can put through a knapsack

Yes, but will kill everything else though, so need to be extremely careful not to kill off any shrubs that lurks underneath / to the sides.

You are correct. As it is not our property, we need to maintain shrubbery etc.

The garden is about 1/2 acre,

Still have holding number as old home not sold yet, and please correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I know (been trained) - the law does not state you need holding number to use proff chems, only the required certs etc, which I have?
