AHW2

Has anyone added this on the new expanded scheme. I have enough AHL2 for the amount I want already in the 23 scheme but the system will not let me add it for some reason. It says I have not enough Winter bird food for the amount of supplementary feeding I want to do but this is just wrong just wondering if anyone else had come across this problem.

Found the same problem yesterday, helpline said it was a known issue and they are working on fixing it

Just checked and this problem has not yet been fixed
I couldn't add it either, there was an upgrade on the 4th Sept, had hoped that may of fixed it.

Just submit without AHW2 for now and add it as a separate agreement when the issue is fixed.

Just to throw a spanner in the works for you, was told by Sfi advisors you couldn’t add the supplement at a later date on a seperate application as the two are linked and have to be done on the same application so I went for the unharvested cereal headland option instead to get the application in.

It says you can add AHW2 to an SFI23 agreement, which will always be a later application?

Andy, how do the two scheme three years run. The 2023 AHL2 ends a year earlier than the 2024 AHW2?
I have no idea, only that AHW2 can be used with AHL2.
Could be only a few months difference in a 23 and 24 agreement end date. Could be more,

Logic would suggest you must do AHW2 for three years even if this runs a bit beyond your SFI23 end date.

Hi, yes that was my thoughts reading it. Call to helpline to discuss. No point taking up AW2 to link with a 2023 AHL2 if the AHW2 cannot be terminated when 2023 ends. From seeing it the AHW2 must run with a 2024 AHL2, logically!

Well that’s typical of defra it’s said in all paper work it could be added to an existing agreement. Changing the goal posts yet again do they have a clue as to what they are doing

Anybody had any luck at applying for this? Trying to start a new agreement for this to use alongside a 23 agreement but it won't allow me to apply.
