Who uses Cogent?

I have two shapely Limx heifers I want to ai to a Lim bull. Iv never used Cogent before and the bulls on offer are different to Genus.

What Lim bulls are you having success with on heifers?

Ive a handful of mereside lorenzo calves born out of first calving pedigree limousin heifers. All were small birthweights. I guess the tomschoice bull would be easiest calved but less shape. Seen some shapey jackpot calves although they were abit smaller than calves the same age.

Thanks, that's a great starting point for me. How did you find the quality of lorenzo calves?

Lorenzo calves have been good quality with plenty of shape and they have been quite as mice. The rest our our heifers are in calf to ampertaine magnam and ampertaine inferno, which were bought off semenstore.

have you got a picture of these heifers to bull...the forum better check they arent too shapey and fat to be bulled?!

Don’t know If they still have gold card ? Had some belting calves from him, can’t remember ever pulling one.

We had a goldcard calf out of one of our ped blues, calved on her own and went on to sell the calf very well for breeding

I’ve got Goldcard, jackpot and Lorenzo calves on the ground. Only one that had an issue calving was coming tail first.

Out of the cogent bulls, jackpot is leading. However it’s Lodge Hamlet that is still my go to bull in the tank, easiest born and the best calves too
