Had a company deliver some semen today...That I didn't order. Can they come and take it out of a farm flask and put it in another farm flask?
They technically can't take semen back for bio-security reasons, make sure you let them know u know this, should get the semen for free then
I would get it used! ahaThats what I thought the rules are. 60 free straws....now to look up and see if the bulls any good lol
£11 a straw list price.....not badI would get it used! aha
what is it?£11 a straw list price.....not bad
Told neighbours where it is, don't like bulls with little or no info on their proof....you wanna get here before they do lolhttp://www.dairydaughters.co.uk/other-breeds/detail.php?id=4
Looks a very nice bull.........looks like the straws are yours too-to sell to someone else, it has to be stored in a licensed flask-an on farm flask isn't eligible
Proof schmoof-he's a strong, good looking boy. The more these bulls are bigged up, the more disappointing their daughters are imo. Get some fresian mixed in with the holstein, for a bit of strength with your milk. Fed up of these kippers that decide to lie out and don't get up againIt didn't appeal to me looking at his proof!

Have fallen out with AI full stop. Ok for heifers but nothing finds them and stops them like the real thinghttp://www.genusbreeding.co.uk/?bulls=morcourt-hilton thats what i use to add strength to holsteins, no need for minus milk figures
Dont blame me for the lack of talent of your AI man/women!Have fallen out with AI full stop. Ok for heifers but nothing finds them and stops them like the real thing
Tbh we've run stock bulls along with AI for 15 years and have only bought them off 2 local reputable breeders who don't sell anything they wouldn't use themselves. We go off whether the bull is well put together and we like the look of him, but obviously, he'll have some breeding behind him to have been kept as a calf. Maybe we've been lucky but the milking heifers and cows out of stock bulls are just as good, if not better, than any of the proven stuff. As you milk more cows, and have various people milking them, it gets more difficult to spot a heat, which is where the bull comes inDont blame me for the lack of talent of your AI man/women!
