Air bleeds on co4 with metcalfe?

Recently bought a co4 and have ordered metcalfe tines for it. I am considering getting a set of weaving air bleeds. Does anyone have experience with this setup? Since i`m new to the Horsch, i have no experience with fan speed for different seeds, and would think the airbleeds makes it a little bit easyer? Going to drill anything from grass to beans with this drill.

I run a CO8 with Metcalfe points and have never felt the need for any air bleeds, have sown most seeds from osr to beans plus slug pellets all down the same tube.no probs.

What do the air bleeds actually do? I've had beans block the metcalf tubes on my co6 on more than enough occasions, they would probably help in that situation but do they offer any other benefit?

The air bleeds dump the air at the seed tube to stop bounce in the row,if you are having blocking problems at the tube you need to open the tube up to get rid of the pinch point or use worn out tubes cut at an angle with no pinching, this works well as the beans are still blown to the bottom of the slot,

Who makes these? They were fitted to my Claydon Hybrid. You get a few seeds coming out of the vent but not enough to worry too much.
