Want to put airline other side of shed but compressor has to stay where it currently is thinking of some sort of pipe round the outside clipped to the wall, any ideas what size as must be able to run a 3/4 gun and supplier . Have read people using blue water pipe but have read it can get hot and may shatter.

I've been using blue poly pipe and water fittings for air line around the workshop for 2 years or more now with no leaks

going to say the same 25mm

If your concerned about heat use a few meters of hydraulic hose nearest the compressor,had mdpe for 10+ years without a problem.

2 workshops, 25mm blue pipe and philmac couplers.
It allows me to hide the compressor at the back of the shed and start it remotely (2.5mm wire heavy extension lead plugged in at the front of shed).

Use black water pipe, it is designed to be used above ground, and is supposed to be UV stable.

I’ve done a couple of workshops for friends in iron pipe, fixed to the wall with Munson rings. Looks far nearer than plastic and harder wearing.
