Nope. It’s directly in the high pressure line. Bypass it if your busy and it’s just the switch that’s crapped out. Not the safest to do but will keep you going and cool
I’d check with the dealer, on some systems there’s a valve in the fitting and as you unscrew the sensor it closes to stop the gas leaking out. I have no experience with the NH system though so it may not have this feature.
Don't take a chance get system checked switches are there to protect the system if it's bypassed and compressor blows up it will be expensive to repair, have you checked condenser if blocked pressure will go up.
