Albutt @ Lamma

The Farming Forum was asked to visit the Albutt stand at Lamma and see what they had to offer at the show. We visited the stand to see what they had to offer.

Overall the show was really busy, Dan and Robin on the Albutt stand never stopped for the whole time I was there, it was really busy! With a constant stream of farmers asking them questions about their products, I’m guessing they had a great show. Robin was losing his voice by 2pm on day 1!

I did however manage to grab them both for a few moments so they could talk me through the new products they had on their stand, the C Grab and the 4 bag Hydraulic Lift.

This is the short introduction by @AlbuttDan for the C Grab

And this is Robin from Albutt taking us through the main features of their New Hydraulic Bag Lift.

Here are the other pictures and you can see how busy the stand was and how useful buckets are for learning on when you get tired at a show!

A question for Albutt. We have 3 of your buckets and are looking at another. Why don't you weld a bush around the bottom pin holes on the brackets on the buckets? They wear very quickly. The old cherry bucket we have isn't as well made but the bushes mean the pin holes have hardly worn. The grab seems ok, but it isn't shaken as much and the Webbs are thicker steel.

Went and introduced myself to Dan to congratulate him on how well he handled himself on a thread a month ago ,,,,,, not easy walking into the lions den , but he did what he said he would and gained a lot of trust from folk for doing so .

Well done Dan ,,,,,, may you have a long and succesfull career in what ever you do ,,,,,, I wish there were more folks like you in this business !!!!!!

I met you briefly on the second day and had a chat about the bottom pin holes on our compost fork. As @farmerbill says a bush welded in would be better, at least it would be easily replaced in the future. As said though, well done on a great product and support.

I just happened to be driving a guys loadall today with his albutt bucket it is an oldish bucket that's done a lot of work but did just think to myself the same that it could do with bushes on the pin holes.

Our Cherry bag lifter that we bought last year has bushes (manitou). Such a simple thing and will save a lot of hassle. Quite why the headstock doesn't have them as well is beyond me. Designed in failure.

Hello Farmerbill, had a chat with design about the bushes. It's something that they have always done but based on the feedback are going to sit down and look at what would be involved to potentially add them in the future
