He’ll be fine as they are round and smooth
I hope it will work. It's a slalom system with all the slurry having to go through the hole on the right hand side. Everyone who's seen the layout thinks it will work fine.

Looking for suggestions. Cell count last week happily going about the 140. Next collection it was 400, no visible mastitis anywhere. So left it till next collection as sometimes we get a sky high figure and then back to normal next collection.
Next collection came back just as high , still no visible clots in detectors or filter, no hard or hot quarters either. CMT all the cows morning and night, found a couple of nearly dry cows showing high, so separated them from the bulk tank.
This morning's result 381 :(
Any suggestions where to look next :scratchhead:
we don't milk record either. so I'd look back at any cows that calved between your last good test and first bad test keep them out if it's not to many, or test them cows. Have you sorted it yet?

Local quarries were sold a few years ago out of receivership with stone reserves valued at £1/t.On that basis 200%! Although rumoured the buyer paid only a small fraction of the asking price.
803 is 15 quid delivered. A lot of money in machines and haulage/fuel needed to get it to its final destination. So a quid could be about it

We have three large (biggest is over 1.5m gallons) suspended floor lagoons using round support pillars and haven’t had an issue with homologating slurry using a propeller. Just make sure that you have a foot or so of water before you put cattle in

@simplesimon what propeller are you going to use? Can it be electric powered and entirely submersible? & @vantage do you know the make of slurry auger?

A mate of mine is building a slalom system for 300,he said he will use a slurry auger to lift out of one end to the next, apparently takes very little power.
