no doubt you are better prepared/expect snow more than us soft southerners. Father couldn’t recall our milk not being collected until last spring, hence not being insured.

Yep same here, my father milked for 50 years and always had the milk collected. I am fortunately insured though, by accident. I insured the tank which also luckily covers non collection.

Not a flake here, just cold rain on Thursday and blazing sun now.

I've got 3 loads of urea coming this week and if we get a couple more dry days than we'll be loading some of it straight into the spinner.

LOL close, we were hosting the hunt this morning but it was cancelled, so we went to the pub for lunch.

Brilliant bit of kit. Use far less salt than a shovel and its far more evenly spread. I can do and do all round the yard and the roads by myself at anytime of the day.

Candlemas day is bright and clear, we shall have winter for half the year, if Candlemas day is cloudy with rain, winter has gone and won't come again.
Was bright and clear last year, and it seemed like winter lastedhalf the year too.

Just wondering, Anyone know how many kgs / mile the council aims to spread on the roads
