Not a similar spec. Ours have steering axles, air brakes, self fill, rear links for dribble bars etc etc. Well worth the asking price

Growth exceeding demand and the forecast looking better from Sunday on means I plan to stop feeding silage from next week. Here's hoping I can manage 200+ days with no feeding like 2017 rather than the 40 odd I had last year.

It would never be much over 60 even in peak spring. Demand is low because that includes a fair bit of silage ground but there doesn't seem much point shutting that up just to feed more now. If ground conditions are good I'll graze all cutting ground next week and the week after.

While we are talking grass measuring, we run a fairly relaxed grazing system here but definitely think I could get more from it, what's the best plate meter for ease of use?

Platemeters are mostly the same so take your pick.

It's the using of it that's the vital bit.

I'm not about to put a robot in soon,but was suitably impressed by our De laval dealer explaining how fast the robot attachment was and that it would harvest substantially more milk.

I've a Connor 2750 bought new in 2012 been well pleased with it. It loads quicker than the Marshall 1500 it replaced
