Some real variations in that lot Headless
70 more similar sized turned up a few days ago, and the little brown cows are looking greatHope they doing you proud
At times this week what with trying out an apprentice for sept and my son being home from college there were potentially 5 people available to help with calving.
So can some body please explain why we have 4 cows calve all week and this weekend we have had 6 when there’s only 1.5 people on. The same happened 2 weekends ago when I was on. Last week when 2.5 were on 1 bloody calf.
Thank god there’s only 9:left.

I always think they cross their legs until it's my weekend (where there's 1.0 on).

You must be due to go dry in 6 ish weeks.Poor job up here as well. Reinforced my decision to just give them a pre milking buffer and send them back to it tonight.
Shed is hot as heck.

Finally settled. Gave me an education yesterday, I thought finished bull beef was hard to work with but no it turns out 8month old dairy heifers win hands down. Between not getting them on a trailer to them breaking through electric and 2 barb fences before stopping was definitely a learning curve.
