Took this at 10am on a hot morning last summer. Door was open, every one chose the shed

I’d love a shed like that!

how much do you add ?
So far this year, about 2.5 litres on a 2000l tank for 120 milkers at night. Will do twice a day if the risk is higher, which it hasn't been so far for us. See how much oil is on the water by the next milking to an extent. It does put them off drinking a bit, so try not to put too much on if I can help it, but it is a relatively cheap and effective method, so not worth skimping on. Hope that isn't too vague and rambling an answer.

Bit of last minute ploughing before the rain tomorrow. Kept heifers in until tb test was complete. Typical early grass year meant I could hardly get the darned stuff grazed. Burned it off to stop it growing in front of them! Getting away so far without skimmer blockages, even though it's quite tufty.:nailbiting:. Mind you, still the same old nonsense of clogging the boards up in the light land.:mad::mad:

Silty gravelly moraine under the first field.

Red silt/clay/stones under the second. Little bit heavier.

Cheers . I have a field with high clover content, lost a cow on there last year . Will try some oil when the clover content over takes the grass
