Had them on housed heifers this last winter. Great job, far better than tail paint. No questioning of whether it's a positive heat or just a bit of carry on
100 % delighted with results here, traveling from tank to youngstock got brilliant results. As said tail paint with heifers ain’t easy to manage

After ai do you strip the activated pads off and reapply a new one to pick up repeats? Or revert to tail paint?

My cows are on 12 hours grazing breaks and i don't like the idea of the bulling cows spending the whole night jumping on each other rather than eating then going back out in the morning when the main herd have eaten all the best feed and still being hungry.

I keep everything AI'd in the morning in a separate paddock next to the parlour with tons of feed in then get them in as the first row in the afternoon and re apply a new blue patch then. If you put a new patch on as you AI you will see a lot of false positives and get through a lot of patches.

Wet enough here that the dog doesn’t want to leave the office. Think this might just be our saving grace. It was dam dry up until now.

0.4mm here at lunchtime. Very localised. A mile up the road got twice as much. Mile down the road got none. It's blown up another fine evening. Remains to be what we get tomorrow and Sunday. Looks like next to nothing.

Yes. I had a play with a few estrotects last year and really liked them so I've gone 100% that way this year.

I thought I'd be the last person in the country to move away from tail paint but I can't see myself ever going back to painting now.

Funnily enough I’ve done the exact same thing, we are getting on really well with them
