I have an expensive dead cow, . Spoke with the vet at lunchtime, he said they dont usually make it, due to loosing so much protein from their bodies through the fluid loss.
I tried, but unfortunately this time i lost. you win some and you lose some, thats farming.
Another half a dozen to calve before months end, so hopefully better luck with them

And this morning I won one.
A nice heifer calf out of one of my best cows, and just to make things slightly more exiting no 12 (the white one) is up to her usual tricks of stealing calves

Looking for a bit of advice if possible. Have a cow that has managed to contract dermatitis on her udder. It’s right in the clevis between the two front teats. Any ideas on how to shift this? Been trying this past 10 days or more.

I’m getting a fair bit of this and I footbath every day, beds are done to a high standard and cows are fairly clean . It’s becoming a bit of a issue

Tylan powder. Upwards spray bottle. Wipe it as clean and dry as you can first.
