Tell your man putting on to man up and pre wipe as well. We have a pre sprayer and wipe before putting on.

Staff retention is far more important than being 5 over the limit.

Telling any staff to “man up” is a fast way to doing it all yourself. It’s not there problem it’s mine, I’m the one who’s responsible not them and at the end of the day it’s up to me to implement something to solve it if became that big of a problem. The bit you miss is in late lactation a 50 point is doing 350 cows an hour, there’s no person alive can teat prep and cup on at that speed.

Good luck with that! We’re extending and going auto id in the parlour, the majority was second hand but MPCs are new as we couldn’t find any.
Have chance of some but may be too old to go with the newer milk meters I have a grant for. Thought I was sorted with a whole parlour, but sold to some else under my nose ☹️
