Not really.

Jerseys are very reactive to inputs. Far more than other breeds or crosses. By diluting the jersey numbers, we can manipulate inputs and therefore solids easier whilst pushing litres
Plus we instantly become attractive to cheese makers

They're not mine... dad wants to keep them atleast for now and the agreement is I look after them on the day to day side of things and make their silage and in return I get the rest of his land and use of his machinery

Showed a non-farmer round the farm a few years ago, a highly academic 'policy' type bod. Said 'I've noticed you refer to the cows as 'she' and talk about 'her'. '

I've used a twose set before an they are good. I cant afford any for now, was just being nosey if I'm honest

were the same in a few patches. Lots of moles means lots of worms which means you must be doing a good job!
