son has just had a good deal, of e'bay, 15 10 x4x2 water troughs, £66 pounds each, + £200 delivery, that will make up for a drop in butterfat !
That sale at exeter monday, was a bit scary, was told the best cows would be nudging £3,000, by the autumn, didn't believe that, when told back, a while, now think they might be close to that.
Barren cow price seems to keep creeping up, as well, trouble is, as what we sell, rises, so do all our imputs, if there is a crash, there are going to be causalities in the ag supply industry.

Top on Monday was £2300.
