I sold one & brought one back homeI had a call from Skipton asking if I was after any dairies last week. You guys probably shorter of forage than further south ?
they looked nice on marteye, and they were giving a lot of milk, but l did think, £1940, for a 5th calver, calved march, and not served, was getting on with it ! But takes a min of 2 buyers, to make the trade, and there were more than 2, didn't hear either mark say about marteye, or sold on marteye.Holsworthy had some dam expensive dry cows today
barren trade seems to be very strong, with 'gushing' reports from mkts, perhaps to 'gushing'? But certainly a chance to out some pd neg cows, just wonder how many, would buy a decent milker back in.Making me wonder what my empties would be worth in the unlikely event that we pass our Tb test tomorrow
