Kale, first time I've tried direct drilling, very pleased with it. Good view of st Michael's mount and Penzance here to.

If u could understand the workings of it and find a pump you could probably make your own @Tim G
I can see it being doable, just not sure I could do it! Arduino/raspberry pi type thing, dosing pump, water solenoids etc.
My head hurts from trying to wire in the bulk tank control box that the previous owner helpfully remove but only labelled some of the connections.

Off farm, main unit is about 1 mile away. View at home is ok but not that good.
Looking on a map is that you the other side of the quarry from Paul Richards?
It's up to my knees and drilled with a Moore unidrill on 30th July. It was fairly slow to get going but is growing well now.

Very similar here. Drilled 24th of July

Cows are carrying some cover. As good as it gets for mid sept?

Definitely way ahead of the last few years as a result of a lower stocking rate and a good growing year. You can still see last year's heifers that got really bullied out when we had too many cows last year and finished the year far too thin. This year's heifers are by difference bulls but you'd struggle to identify them, they've continued to grow and look great.

PD tomorrow.

There a complete pain have a silly timer thing on a wheel which you stick various plastic chips onto for length of each cycle ours must have 30 wires in it I wouldn’t like to have to wire one had a thought today we use a snow foam thing for cleaning the outside the tank it sticks pretty well maybe that would be the easy solution spray it up then come back rinse it off job done

Ahh yes, that's just what I needed 🤬 anyone else ever had a dog break their leg in a cow slat? Or just my luck as per?? 🙈
How this is going to cost 2 grand and yet a c-section on a cow costs 350 quid is beyond me...

Had one break it on a concrete block has it had pins and plates or just a cast if it’s a cast they’ve had your pants down if pins and plates that’s fairly reasonable
