Your location is epic!
We have family and friends at leedstown so spent a lot of time in your patch. Hope in future years to relocate down your way.Off farm, main unit is about 1 mile away. View at home is ok but not that good.
I can see it being doable, just not sure I could do it! Arduino/raspberry pi type thing, dosing pump, water solenoids etc.If u could understand the workings of it and find a pump you could probably make your own @Tim G
Looks nice and even! When was that drilled and how tall would you say?Kale, first time I've tried direct drilling, very pleased with it. Good view of st Michael's mount and Penzance here to.

Looking on a map is that you the other side of the quarry from Paul Richards?Off farm, main unit is about 1 mile away. View at home is ok but not that good.
It's up to my knees and drilled with a Moore unidrill on 30th July. It was fairly slow to get going but is growing well now.
Yes I would be pz side of the quarry. Our ground runs up to the quarry.
I'm sure there is space for a few moreGetting towards the end of the turnips and rape now. Both the cows and me prefer the turnips.

Running an effective stocking rate of 2000 cows/ha here.
The only farm that was awarded saputos ++ award. It looks a very tidy farm on Google maps and the area is distinctly west Cornwall. Tiny fields with prime veg ground one side of the hedge and basically moorland on the other side.
Cows are carrying some cover. As good as it gets for mid sept?Getting towards the end of the turnips and rape now. Both the cows and me prefer the turnips.

It's because most people insure their pets so the cost is what the insurance companies will wear not what is sensible.Ahh yes, that's just what I needed anyone else ever had a dog break their leg in a cow slat? Or just my luck as per??
How this is going to cost 2 grand and yet a c-section on a cow costs 350 quid is beyond me...

There a complete pain have a silly timer thing on a wheel which you stick various plastic chips onto for length of each cycle ours must have 30 wires in it I wouldn’t like to have to wire one had a thought today we use a snow foam thing for cleaning the outside the tank it sticks pretty well maybe that would be the easy solution spray it up then come back rinse it off job doneI can see it being doable, just not sure I could do it! My head hurts from trying to wire in the bulk tank control box that the previous owner helpfully remove but only labelled some of the connections.
Had one break it on a concrete block has it had pins and plates or just a cast if it’s a cast they’ve had your pants down if pins and plates that’s fairly reasonableAhh yes, that's just what I needed anyone else ever had a dog break their leg in a cow slat? Or just my luck as per??
