Our last Melody only went last year I think. She was a wild old bat. Good milker though.

We brought the last batch of cattle in today so I guess winter is here now. They have been out since they were 2 weeks old and when I clipped their backs it was like clipping sheep the fur was so thick.

Then next time it`s off aquire a genny & plug it in
That’s the plan, nothing like this ever happened before, and we can run the vaccum pump off tractor pto so wasn’t as though couldn’t milk the cows, that’s why never bothered, we milk 45 or thereabouts max. Just had to have head torches on to see.

my weekend to work all done by 9.30.
Plenty of time to walk the dogs with my best friend and get home to watch Bryony Frost show the boys how to ride a steep chaser and win the tingle creek at Sandown . Then go back and do the afternoon routine whilst listening to my beloved Liverpool go top of the league. Finish up in time to watch Max V choke in F 1 qualifying.
