Are you moving patch each time or just using that as your feed bunker? We’ll be forced to feed in paddock soon
Was feeding in lines in grass fields no problem, but on turnip dust just one line under poly wire to reduce wastageAre you moving patch each time or just using that as your feed bunker? We’ll be forced to feed in paddock soon

Limo calf this morning, pretty pattern!
That's the oneOut of your own bull?
Suggests a belly full of silage is better feed value - probably an extra 20 units ME than the few blades of frizzled up grass they could find.Anyone else's milk yields risen? I can't understand why but the cows are milking 4 litres a day better compared to last week?
The only thing that's changed is they're having less grass and more silage
That must be some kind of recordAnyone else's milk yields risen? I can't understand why but the cows are milking 4 litres a day better compared to last week?

It really doesn't make senseSuggests a belly full of silage is better feed value - probably an extra 20 units ME than the few blades of frizzled up grass they could find.

What management do you do for cocci? Had a out break this year and all had been drenched, was probably from overstocking due to tb.View attachment 1056186Nothing to eat but still the best looking group in three yrs. simples really keep the coci at bay and they grow !
