Another cracking day to be outwintering. Then a trip to Cribbs Causeway, nearly @jimmer s part of the world, to get some baby paraphernalia.

I should have said if he doesn't mind me being nosey! I like the look of Danish reds but I think they can be pretty firey around calving time.

Out of 120 we've calved this year the 5 danish reds were the only ones that I wasn't happy around. That includes the fleckvieh which are the bullshiest of them all. The reds just felt unpredictable

I'm nearly in your part of the world today, in Wiltshire but right on the Western end just out of Bath. Lovely weather but the land looks fekin awful, there's still a fair bit of standing water on ground and this has to be the dryest winter I can remember.

Re. Prams and all other baby kit, eBay and FB selling groups all the way, we picked up a mint version of that one in the foreground for about £300, I seem to remember they're scarily close to a grand new.

Baby stuff is all a total rip off! My wife was very particular about what she wanted with our first but by our second we couldn't give a f**k, in fact our son wore all his sisters vests and sleepsuits!!

Some fairly wet bits in west Wilts. Have done fairly well with second hand so far, but there seemed to be a preference for a new car seat. And we had vouchers to spend.
