We've had an inch of rain in last 24hrs.Can only watch it grow !Some grass is going over never seen it so forward at this time of year.That's with no fert.

we've not seen grass like it here for this time of year with no fert,just a shame i cant get near it..only the silage ground will be having any fert put on for the first dose,rest will just be grazed when we can get on it

all silage is new leys,4 or 5 cuts so no pastures go in clamp,pastures all grazed apart from meadows which go for hay..had it before when theres some nice young grass in the pastures which I've stuck fert on when i can finally travel and it just hasn't dried out enough under foot and won't do unless you cut it and it never makes good stuff so we are deciding to save fert this year,rightly or wrongly who knows

funny you mention concrete sleepers,i laid two across across my sleeper bridge after getting fed up with the railway sleepers disappearing down stream when it floods,last check the concrete and wooden ones are down the other end of farm caught up in tree on the river bank :banghead:
Fair flow then, sure you haven't a water leak..
