When I suggested you put the machine feeder set up in her cot I was really only joking !

Was far from intentional. I put her down to try and socialise her a bit with the calvers and to play in the straw and off she went.

She wasn't there at the time ..... but not all that worried. Aslong as it doesn't make her ill she is pretty laid back and knows what sort of trouble she gets into if she's left alone with me

New genus bull !!! I always like to tag them when they drop, might aswell get all the stresses out of the way at once.

3 sets out of last 7 calvings,all ok so far nothing a few pessaries and bit of metacam wont sort, but not really ideal.especially when weve got 60 to calve in the nxt couple of months.

Cracking pair, there's no better feeling, be £600 to us we had a few sets last calving period, bowt 90 did to triple blue this time I get the same buzz from dropping a blue as a dairy heifer nowadays such nice calves to deal with always and you know your in the no matter what!

Are you feeding much grain at the moment?

The cows look in great condition, certainly fatter than mine.

Yeah 9-10 lbs. just home grind wheat, oats, corn. Ignore that first cow in the picture though, she has a trip scheduled Thursday. Everyone that visits always comments on the cows condition.

Have any recent pictures of your cows? Always like to see brown cows.

Luckily it's attached quite high up the teat, and doesn't hinder milking.

Brought 10 heifers back earlier this week to ai. Suppose to be 11 but 1 decided to jump back with the in calf heifers and younger heifers

Fekin bulls. Had to slacken off all the adjustments on the breast rail and then give his head a good clean with the volume washer to get him to move.
