He can shove a bit more tmr down there necks they'd be right

She looks good. Have you many Solaris heifers? Are they a great advertisement for xbreeding ? I think if I was crossing he'd be top of my list.

The calf is a Solaris. Only had 4 hit the ground so far.
The heifer is a sinbad which is just a random red and white holstein.

It's seriously fekin' horrible down here today and has been pretty horrible for a few days now.

I'm starting to get serious housing envy seeing pictures of cows under cover

Cows are being demoted to some steep old pp for the next few nights until the weather picks up a bit.

The beet are on some dry ground and have been fine so far. The problem is I've run out grazing on dry ground. .

The big gear is arriving this weekend, slurry lagoon and cow tracks for the next 2 weeks.

Pics were taken at 6am when the wind had been a howlin' for a few hours. According to the Met Office, we have another 18 hours to go before it settles down.

last day out here too, earliest closing for a long time, 5 weeks earlier than last year.

Too be honest although we’ve had a lot of days with rain,we’ve not really had huge amounts of it,and this is the Blackmore vale...the home of grass,it’s been a great growing year here

Looks similar to last nights grass paddock.

Quite wet here last night and the temporary tracks are breaking down fast, but the cows have at least 6 weeks of good grazing in front of them... I can see it getting quite messy.

I think I will be setting up my little feed pad and start feeding bales if its still shite tomorrow though.
