It won't seem too foreign because he's brought some prime Cumbrian weather with him.

I have great admiration for a good friend of mine. He has school age children and a cracking 150 cow block autumn calving herd. He dried all his cows off last Friday on the last day of term and PSC is start of September.
There is heaps of grass in there.they get a chunk of fresh every day. Sid your a plank.this is real life, it's rained all week and were calving. It's now all in the fresh calved field happy as larry.Ffs put them in a field with a least some green grass. This is a forum open to the general public.

Some good deals coming through on this market place.
@Clive could we have a search or alert feature for items discounted by say over 40%?
Excellent. Just think it could generate a lot of sales and a lot of bargains. I only stumbled on those by chance as there was nothing on the teleWill look at it on Monday - certainly possible

If its who I think it is, I visited his farm and did a report on it a few years ago when I was doing my degree. Very impressive.
Possibly, he's just on the top edge of Plymouth, not a high profile chap but puts a lot of effort into having a life outside of farming and spending time with his family.
He's not organic but is one of you hippie types at heart. My bedtime reading at the moment is a Gary Zimmer book he lent me on biological farming
