Pretty sure for HSE for dairy bulls they need to be ringed to be handled with bull pole.

The whole 'project calf' thing has gone very quiet, I'd completely forgotten about it.

The page still only has 3900 followers which is basically bugger all in Facebook numbers especially as half of them are farmers following out of interest

Tell them It has one for the same reason people do, to make it stand out from the herd. Only difference being in amongst the cows it works whereas in a herd of vegans they all have them. My BIL dryly observed someone with a ring in their nose, but could equally well apply to a bull, “Better a ring in the nose , than a nose in the ring!”. Run boy, run!!!!
