great week so far, SFP came yesterday, clear TB test today, 300 cattle, and only had to measure a couple ! So we can now move are plans forward, as previously said, we are going to slim right back, and knock a lot of debt out, so, anyone want some young spr calvers, ring Rob Speck at Kivells.

An all stainless tandem so that the stall work outlasts the operators sanity..
Well it was a bit of a damp squib, 16 reactors ( which seem to be the average number we have lost over the last 12 months at each test last year) and a mixed bag of cattle from the last calf born In 2019 to the oldest cows (born 2005) ,had most shot on farm yesterday as under drug withhold and rest to go to slaughter next week and have had a clear skin test on youngstock farm today and dairy herd being read tomorrow and haven't noticed any lumps, but the January test last year was a clear test, so hoping this one is as well, just need not to have lesions on any of the gamma reactors and it will be classed as a clear test

That would of cost a small fortune new. I used to milk in one years ago a 12/12 putting 250 through, its still going at the moment.

Might know of 16 if there still sale
To he fair we probably only get upto 250 cows an hour as our parlour is smaller and the cows are giving to much milk. It's not that hard on the body though once you get used to it. Usually no one puts on more than once a day.
Just the stainless steel alone, never mind anything else!

There were a fair few sold around here must of been a terrible feeling once they finished as it didn’t speed up milking at all, nothing more than an glorified abreast.

Think our vets and our case vet can't quite believe it too, was expecting many more cows too go, as everyone thinking is we have a herd problem, but looks very much like a wildlife problem as all but one were on land where ill badgers were culled

That’ll be the one I was going to buy last week, didn’t speak to him for 24 hours while I checked a few things out about updating the meters, phoned to buy it and they’d sold it to someone else
