Brother has been here today with his drone, makes me realise how much rain we need.

As in wintersell titan? I've around 10 heifers off him, a year to 18 months, and they're actually a bit light for my liking.

That is something we have noticed as they've approached bulling age/weight. It's not something that I'm concerned about myself because they have been a uniform bunch - it's not because they're struggling is why they're small, they're just a bit smaller than their contemporaries.

The heifers I've seen have blended into the herd nicely and again - very uniform.

Had 5 calve so far, all calved under 24 months.Sold one on farm for £1800,one calved at 22 month now giving 42kg very good strong heifer and is a keeper and the other three will all be sold on farm asking price again £1800.The 4 sellers are lower yielding and of average type but too narrow in both chest and rump for us.

That’s interesting hopefully they won’t be too narrow for us I’ve used him on strong British friesian types. They must look good though if you selling them for that money. 👍
