For us, it's not wet for August. August is usually crap anyway. Depending on the weather going forward, if continuing wet then that bit would probably have to be backfenced off on this farm for the next grazing, otherwise you wouldn't be grazing it next spring.
August usually the wettest month of the year for us, not so much number of wet days but the quantity of rain dumped on those days. In a few hours one day this week we've had 45mm, which I suppose is about 10% of our annual rainfall.
