All things Dairy

Ours has lost the paint off the bonnet above the silencer box. Shame they don’t make them like that now. Not sure how today’s tractors are going to fare once they’re 25 years old.
This one has had paint, only done 3700 genuine hrs when I bought it last year, probably paid too much at the time, but prices have risen considerably since, have spent a bit sorting the 4wd dog clutch, and turboing it, fitted front links and a decent set of tyres. It's 10 series reliability but being a powerstar engine ½ the fuel consumption !!
Should last me out 🤞

Father in law had an early 2wd 12speed with a Tb turbo, pulled well but was dangerous as it did 30mph.I'll never forget my bro in-law saying watch this as he set off forwards at full pelt then stuck it in reverse,it didn't last long.

When you make a mad mistake on a Tuesday morning. Rabbit grazing on the dirty water lanes! Blimin fool. Left a ramp for him/her to get out.

Running out of grass here now, not due to lack of rainfall, just too many mouths to feed. Will open clamp for fresh calvers and Springs milking well.

Rain came in about 4 here yesterday, nice and steady.
Been raining on and off all night son said when he got in at 4am from being on Maize for contractor.

Not too much rain yet please....

I feel sorry for whoever is lifting maize using the harvester I passed at Okehampton this morning. This is heavy stuff now.
