Thankyou, mr and mrs @Friesianfan Have helped me loads by basically giving me their paperwork as it's essentially the same, I've got two people here for the next 3 days to hopefully get the grunt of the physical stuff done and I'm stuck inside today phoning people and doing the paperwork sh!t whilst muttering to myself about all the actual work I have to do 😬😬😬

The main thing that's stressing me out is the borehole water test, it takes 2-3 weeks so I've asked for an extension as they're coming tomorrow to est it and my 28 days runs out on Tuesday, I should be ok with that shouldnt I??

My landlord registered our place as a borehole water only with CCC which means legaly we have to allow them to test us ever twelve months not allowed to use a third party. About £150 annually so not to bad I suppose.

don't forget to add 3 drops of hypo to your sample, just to make sure it's safe to handle.
RT wants a test every time they visit. When we couldn't track down the cause of our high bacto, water supply was highlighted, and then tested x3, at the bore hole, 1st and last tap in the dairy, all 3 perfect, without the hypo, we did that 3times as well, but just to be sure, we meter hypo into the dairy main, as well as ultra violet. Then it was the flood washer, not. ( it was where they said it couldn't possibly be, as that had been swabbed and tested several times) no offer of money back though.
@Jdunn55, run a mains 'supply' in temp, and say you are waiting for result, but, are you asking for a water potable test, or the full works ? You only need a water potable test, which gives you a part answer in 2 days, and a full one in 4, can't remember the cost, well under £100 though. We use a firm at trowbridge, used to be eclipse, but changed hands, we just drop sample in, they e'mail back results.

Try your Milk buyer for a water test as they should be able to test a sample for you.

Ever heard the phrase dont believe everything you read on the internet?

I have also stated on here that someone is coming to test my water tomorrow and I have emailed red tractor asking for an extension for that non conformance due to the lengthiness of the test.
I have no plans to "cheat" my red tractor as itll only come back to bite me later and will need to be done eventually so may as well do it now first as last.

Some of you on here really do come across as bullies on here, and I dont mean about this because tbf I can see why you're all concerned and maybe I should have thought about what i wrote but so should some of you. I've had a huge volume of messages from no less than 20 different people on here telling me not to take any notice of what you lot say over the past month or so. Luckily i have thick skin and couldnt care less what you lot think of me but if i didnt and did care you lot could do quite a lot of damage and cause quite a lot of upset. Like I say I'm not alone in thinking that as I've had a vast range of people tell me the same thing.
