It would seem 8 months ago 100 was having a love affair with 2 very different bulls! Shes looking good though, considering shes only been dry for 20 days, had twins in the cubicles and is now on her 6th lactation! Hereford heifer and a red friesian bull which I may well keep 😬

On another note look who's bulling 🥰🥰🥰
Just a note,
Write twin to bull in heifers passport when you get it 👍

Just under an inch of rain today according to a friend. 4 times more than all of April! cold and miserable day though

Milking cows were kicked out this morning.
Not by choice, as I've bugger all grass, but I've no silage either 😔
I usually video the Great escape to freedom, but in-between the snow/hail showers, with a bit of thunder and lightning thrown in, and the bitingly cold wind, I couldn't get my fingers to work as the heated grips on the quad have stopped working too 🥶 . The the 4 inch of rain we have had overnight hasn't helped either, doesn't look like I will have a spring flush here or an earlier crop of silage like I had planned. Ah the joys of farming 🙄

Bitterly cold here in the wind today but the hail and sleet in Friday has moved on.
10mm here in last 24 hrs...end of the week looks warmer. Fingers crossed!!

Good thing you can zoom in on these photos, thought for a couple of seconds you had a dead sheep there too to add to your woes...
