Question for the wise.
My leader cow didn’t get pregnant last yr so I milked her round( on her own)
She is an integral part of the team so really need to get her in calf this yr. So my question is what is the best semen to use on such a cow to ensure a pregnancy.

Cidr sync and triple impact angus.

She might not be as integral as you think she's just a favourite. We all chastised @Jdunn55 for keeping pets. So..........how much milk and how fat is she?

She was milked OAD through the winter. TAD now and recorded out at the end of April at 1.87kgs of solids. So still paying her way. She is not a favourite but does lead the herd everywhere. I’ve had periods when we didn’t have a leader and it can be a right pain

Oh my lord! Absolutely disgusting how could you possibly do such an awful thing! Shes going to cost you in the region of £100000000 and will likely cause you to go bankrupt by the time she finally calves! Cull price is good at the moment send her on! 😉😉😉

Thankyou btw, you have no idea how happy this made me

Put her with the bull. Other than that some sort of hormone injection to get her cycling at the beginning of your breeding window allows her as many chances as possible. Most likely she will disappoint you though. I have my pets too and I usually try and find a nice family that wants a house cow. I have no clue who the “ leader” cow is here.

You can normally tell the leader cow, as she'll be the first Fecker to break out🤔🤣

I would confidently say she is producing 3 times more than yours.
