How much do you get paid per litre? How much does buffer feed cost??4 days growth! Not bad for no fert!
I've been experimenting with the cows, I cut the buffer feed out and have just been grazing them, I shall be going back to buffer feeding I'm afraid, lost a litre per cow and more importantly fat dropped from 4.35% to 4%

Must be getting something good from the buffer then mine tend to drop when I feed even good silage. If you allocated extra grass don't you think you get more out of grass at less cost?4 days growth! Not bad for no fert!
