Anyone else struggling to get Calciject no4. Nothing local. Did get 3 bottles off Fane Valley online but they are restricting it to 3 bottles every 6 weeks !
Worlds gone mad. What's next ?
l posted the shortage, 3 weeks ago, the reason is quite simple, the rubber bungs, that are in the top of the bottles, are very short, the makers have swapped over to making the tops, of the covid vaccine bottles.

Vet said he’s got a job to get hold of it. Like you say it’s gone mad.
We use very little, but found we got a better response with this.

we stocked up, and have 24 bottles, 12 of which are straight calcium, but we don't actually use a lot, so have agreed to share with our neighbour, so both of us, are covered, but will definitely look/try the aggers one.
Who would ever have thought the production of the covid vaccine, would create this problem in dairy cows.
Just shows how interwoven every thing is today, very little is completely made from scratch, in any one industry, things are made up, from 'bits', made by different firms, often in different countries, any one 'bit' can cause production to halt.
What it has shown, the 'just in time' system, has well and truly buggered up the 'system', and hopefully, might help our industry, reliable home product, might look better than unreliable delivery of imported cheaper product.

l see that barbers are asking their suppliers, to keep milk out of the tank, for imported cows, till they have been on farm, for 90 days, to meet EU import regs.
So you buy a cow from EU country, but can only sell back to the EU, if it has been on farm, for 90 days, or if followed through, any processor, exporting to the EU, cannot accept milk from that cow, until the 90 days, unless they can prove it is not included in any exported product.

No 10% red clover BUT
It says cover not plants
Which I've had conformation means you can use less if you want as the leaves will COVER the grass etc
why you would want to use less I don't know because then you don't get enough nitrogen fixing and you can't spread bagged nitrogen etc
Gs4 needs to be 30% clover is that right to meet the grant spec?
