People in the know able to value this 3rd calver for me. She doesn't go in the robots voluntarily and we have persisted for 2 lactations so time for her to go pastures new, unless she has a eureka moment over the coming days.
Calved last night.
Pesky daughter.
VG85 when last classified 2020
1st Lac 7500kgs/4.55f/3.33p/45scc
2nd Lac 8300kgs/5.11f/3.67p/61scc
Low Johnes ,bvd,lepto, salmonella vaccinated, closed herd. Good feet. Served 4 times for 3 calves.
All grass based system.

Don't settle for anything less than £1200 that's that's sure and I'd be wanting closer to £1500

I wouldn't hold your breath, I spend milking getting dripped on because all my sheets are cracked down the middle and still haven't been contacted by farmers weekly

Looking at the npowergrid fault map the number of faults they have is horrific. North tyne van just come back. Driver saying over the top to Otterburn the cables were hanging near the ground encircled with 4 inches of ice

Scraper tractor broken again, mechanics shed blown over so can't get to me until this evening, 5 hours later yards are finally scraped up

I don’t think you’ll be the first or the last to of done a full scrape with the squeegee
