At last
2.5 month winter is long enough

Wont you end of covering all your grazing ground well befor magic day, and reduce grass growth further onto the season, or are you thinking they will be back in once the rain starts?

Using spring rotation planner so grazing what that says , but they’ll still be in at night til into march
Set farm up so 10 April should be first day of second round
If it turns wet I’ll keep them in for a few days but the savings are the things
Scrape once instead of twice
Sawdust every 2/3 days instead of every day
Then there will be an uplift in milk
All positives , don’t see where the negatives are!!

That'll be loads for them for now. Just getting them out for a couple hours is enough to lift the milk ticket and take that straight jacket of winter off

Just takes pressure off , means half an hour longer in bed because I can do cubicles scrape/bed down when cows are out the way

It's surprising how long it takes to move cows around the yard so you can scrape up! Do you have a link to the spring rotation planner? I want to get mine out again tomorrow but don't want to give them too much and run out prior to April

Start off with a small daily allocation like no more than 1/60th of platform and keep them in if its dodgy. Try to measure ASAP and the use the spring planner on agrinet if you use it.

My AFC is below target because of youngstock regrazing what should have been closed in october before christmas. So reckon I won't graze this month at all

My average cover is 300kgs higher than last year
Didn’t get to graze 3 fields at the end of The last grazing round in the autumn

In 365 and mow the lot! More sheep more silage more slurry win win win....

Strange ,because they were in last year for another six weeks and ran out of silage this year

I’ve got plenty of silage left but just not good enough
First cut was 10.9 me
Second cut 10.4 me
Made in perfect condition every 5/6 weeks but as said 2/3 days on floor
