Let’s no forget And graze with sheep
Personally i think its good everyone is different. You seem to think unless someone does the same as you they’re wrong. A farm can be completely different ground to their neighbours & needs to be farmed accordingly. One size certainly doesn’t fit all.
Our cows won’t be going out this year & i’m actually glad. Grazing doesn’t suit how this farm is situated & i’m excited to see what we can achieve with the gates shut. But i’ve got nothing against grazing if thats what suits. What ever floats your boat.

Very true. What you describe would have me putting the for sale sign quicker than your robots could attach the units.
don’t think my bank manager would be best pleased either.

Agreed but the thought of doing the same thing every day 365 is truly awful. Especially if housed 365.
Without trying to offend anyone but milking hundreds of cows giving a few squirts each doesn’t interest us one bit. With extremely limited grazing land we couldn’t do it anyway.
Our cows haven’t been let out at night for many years now so its no real difference fully housing them. Hopefully the system we’re moving to will actually be easier than our current one.
